PLC Based Material Handling System

MELSS Agricultural conveyors are designed to handle bulk materials which need to be stacked as well as to be taken care to contain the drop height to a minimum. The hydraulic drive on swivel wheels makes the system easy to move as well as swing to side ways. The unloading end can be lowered to a minimum height of 1 meter and lifted to a maximum height of 4.5 meters above the ground level. The unit can extend itself to a maximum of 9.5 meters and retract to a minimum length of 5.5 meters.

The system has a large overhang, there by reaching out into the containers for loading from the bay directly. The belt is imported food grade belt with chevron cleats to effectively carry large volume of granular material such as paddy, rice, maize jowar, bajra and vegetable such as potatoes. The unit is successfully tested for loading sand to the Lorries.

Useful for bulk material handling inside cold storages and also load/unload from containers

These specially designed conveyors are equipped with wheels and are light weight. These can be pulled by a single person and have brakes to remain in position when locked.

They are linked with the down line conveyors and have special interlocks and feedback information collection to confirm the functioning of the up line and down line conveyors before it passes on the material to the next conveyor.

These conveyors can be positioned to take materials even at angles greater than 270 degrees as shown in the picture 1 above.
The link conveyors can be effectively used for zig zag transportation of materials inside the factory without providing any permanent space allocated for the conveyors.

The link conveyors can also be used for sorting, grading, marking etc when the material is being transported.

When linked with the MELSS hydraulic swiveling conveyor, the storage and transportation of the materials inside the factory, loading into the containers, stacking in the storage area becomes easy and efficient.
