FairPrice won its fifth consecutive Platinum
Award for Singapore supermarket chains at the
Reader’s Digest Trusted Brand Awards voted
by customers. FairPrice’s housebrand cooking
oil and rice also clinched the Gold Awards in the
local cooking oil and rice product categories.
As a social enterprise of the Labour
Movement, FairPrice has always maintained
a primarily local workforce. About 90%
of our staff are Singaporeans and
Permanent Residents, of which over 80%
are Singapore citizens. FairPrice works
with various agencies such as Community
Development Councils, the Women’s
Development Secretariat, e2i, polytechnics
and Institutes of Technical Education to
create job fairs for locals.
