Green is in!
In
their efforts to create awareness on the importance of leading an eco-friendly lifestyle,
Dome Café has launched the Go Green Campaign as part of their Corporate Social
Responsibility (CSR) project. With every RM200 spent in a single receipt at all Dome
outlets, receive a complimentary Dome recycle bag that you can use when shopping.
The stylish recycle bag is also available for purchase at only RM20. All proceeds from
the recycle bag will go to their Go Green Campaign fund for environmental initiative
to promote a healthier lifestyle by planting trees at Forest Research Institute Malaysia
(FRIM).
Succulent Sundays
The
legacy of the great British Sunday Roast is revived with a local twist at Latest
Recipe, Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur, that’s renowned for its eclectic flair of Asian and
Western cuisine. Diners will be enticed with three selections of meat marinated in local
ingredients. The free range chicken rubbed with ginger,
galangal
, turmeric, onion,
garlic, lemongrass, chili paste and seasoning, will draw your senses into familiarity
of a similar local dish called
ayam percik
.
If you prefer red meat the Australian lamb and 80 days grain fed prime rib will not
disappoint. The succulent lamb leg is marinatedwith garlic, onion paste, lemon, paprika
and rustica spices for 12 hours before it is slow roasted for another three hours. The prime
rib is simply brushed with herbs, mustard, honey, garlic powder and lea & perrins sauce
whilst being roasted to perfection. Side dishes include roasted potatoes, Mediterranean
vegetables, spinach with cream and nutmeg and complementing the roasts are assorted
sauces such as cracked black peppercorn, béarnaise reduction Beurre Blanc sauce and
natural juice from the meat.
The Sunday Roast is available every Sunday for lunch at RM109++per person with
free flow wine, sparkling wine and beer. Children between 4 and 12 years old enjoy
50% discount.
