to try the food and, again, stuffed himself to the
point that he could not breathe.

Petaling Jaya, this restaurant
is only three months old, but
is already building up a strong
fan base. After trying the food
here, it really comes as no surprise that
this restaurant is fast becoming a favourite
amongst lovers of Thai food.
Uncomplicated
Eating out can sometimes be a confusing
experience, with so many cuisines being
fused together that you sometimes feel you
need to be a rocket scientist to understand
the menu. Not so here. The food is not
complicated. “It is everyday food,” said Tan.
The menu here goes back to basics and
leans heavily towards Thai street food,
with a focus on squid and barbeque.
The outlet itself is an intimate,
uncluttered space. Clever use of
lighting makes you feel relaxed as
soon as you walk in.
Tan was there to host my friends
and I, and being a man after my
own heart, did not waste time and
we soon got down to the serious
business of eating.
