were
both premiered at YSDAF 2016 and will extend its run

Shakespeare’s Men emulates the format of the

back inMalaysia for the third time to join forceswith Colin
Kirton and Oliver Johanan for this take.
Shakespeare’s Sonnets, on the other hand, is a fresh
take on the Bard. Four actresses will be presenting the
text in the classic formwhilefive singer-songwriters have
writtenmodern-day songs based on the sonnets. Some
pieces are presented separatelywhileotherswill have the
actressesandsinger-songwritersworkingtogether.There
are some hard-hitting numbers as well as some soulful
music – real gems and all newworks.
