Pet Personality
Cat or dog, rabbit or hamster, your choice of pet says a lot about you.
T
here
is no doubt that people get very passionate about
their pets. We are often drawn to one animal more strongly
than another. You are either a cat person or a dog person,
big animals or small. But why is that so? Pets become an
important part of the owner’s life but the choice of animal
can also be very revealing about the one who takes care of
it. Find out what your pet says about you.
Dogs
According to research,
people who own dogs
are more likely to live
with a family rather
than alone. Some even
might have gotten the
dog from a shelter or
rescue home, which is
a clear evidence that
they are generally very
nice people. Agreeable,
conscientious and extro-
verted are the recurring
traits in research. Dogs
are more likely to be
the animal of choice
for professors, nurses,
entertainers or IT pro-
fessionals.
Cats
Cat owners have been
stereotyped as divorced,
widowed or separated
but the truth is they
are actually very open
to new experiences.
Doctors are more likely
to choose a cat. Cat
owners are more likely
to live in an apartment
rather than a house.
Birds
Those owning birds
are usually those who
are satisfied with their
jobs and boast some
great personality traits.
They are also socially
outgoing, expressive,
but at the same time,
very polite and caring.
Horse
It goes without saying
that people owning
horses are those with
a lot of free space!
They are also more
likely to be married and
own their own home.
Personality-wise, they
tend to be assertive and
introspective.
Snake
The less-typical choice
of pet attracts those
with a good salary.
Snake owners tend to
be hardworking but
unconventional, seek-
ing new and interesting
experiences.
