When it comes to a social life, get
to knownewpeople everyday. Be
less judgmental of other people
and when someone upsets you,
take a minute to think over your
response before answering right
away. Compliment people who
deserve themand stop comparing
yourself with others.
Have you ever felt like you are stuck in a rut sometimes? You want a change so badly
thatyoucanalmost taste it?Change isgood. Our livesneeda littlebitofoverhaul totake
us further down the road at times. We make mistakes but we have to dust ourselves
off and keepmoving on.

does not matter whether
it’s a job that you hate, a
bad relationship or a life
that feels so meaningless;
you always have the option
of starting over. How do we
start over? Take the smallest
baby steps before doing anything
too drastic. Here’s a few steps that
you can start with:
De-clutter your home. Get rid of
things you do not need and fix
things that are broken. It is almost
similar to getting rid of emotional
baggage and fixing things that are
not right in your life.
Make amental list of things in life
that you are grateful for. Focusing
on the good will eventually lead
to letting go of the bad. Well, at
least you will think less of the
negative.
Wake up earlier than usual.
This will give you more time to
exercise, see the sunrise and start
your daywith a healthy breakfast.
It also helps you to discipline
yourself, especially if you have
not really taken care of yourself
too well.
Start a budget and track your
spending. Start saving and spend-
ing less on the unnecessaries. It
will give you the sense of control
over yourself. It also helps that
you are no longer spending more
than half of your monthly income
on booze and impulse purchases.
Change your eating habits. Eat
five servings of greens daily and
identify the food that has been
sabotaging your attempt to keep
a healthy diet. Try to steer away
from it. Not only you will lose
weight, you will feel better about
yourself as well.
Manage your time by starting
a daily planner to write down
all the important appointments
and dates. Identify low-priority
activities that you can stop doing
and focus on doing something
more meaningful instead. Trade
the Friday night of heavy drinking
with a quiet night in with a good
book and classic movie on DVD.
