Greetings and welcome aboard Firefly.
After a successful run with our Merdeka Day promo,
Firefly once again struck gold by offering a 50%
discount on flight tickets for five days between Oct 5
to Oct 9. Judging by the overwhelming response that
we received, it is good to know that our customers are
always keeping track and taking advantage of the great savings that we
offer. For those who missed this opportunity, keep a look out for the
next one via announcements on our website and social media pages.
I observed the same amount of excitement towards our new Kota
Bharu to Langkawi route. With a three times weekly flight frequency, it is
nowmuch more convenient for customers from Kota Bharu and nearby
cities to travel to Langkawi for both leisure and work purposes. A lot of
time is saved as each flight only takes about an hour and 20 minutes.
Firefly Rewards is also sharing another bit of good news for shoppers
out there. A 15% storewide discount is available for Firefly customers at
LOGO Boutiques in Penang and Ara Damansara. All you have to do is
present your Firefly Boarding Pass. On top of that, between Oct 1, 2015
to March 31, 2016 all Firefly passengers are entitled to a 20% discount
on Dinoscovery tickets at Discoveria, Avenue K, Kuala Lumpur. The offer
is valid for 15 days from the boarding date with a maximum of four
tickets that can be purchased per boarding pass. Dinosaur and
sci-fi enthusiasts, this is an opportunity not to be missed!
These past several weeks have proven to be a time of
trial for all of the countries affected by the haze. Due
to bad API index that affected visibility, some of our
flights were delayed or cancelled in October. We deeply
apologise to passengers who were stranded with their
time and plans being affected by this unfortunate event.

destinations. For those flying back to see their loved ones
for Deepavali, I wish all of you Happy Deepavali and
a pleasant journey ahead.
