Back for its 10th year celebration, the
Johor Bahru Arts Festival has come a
long way to promote and celebrate the
vibrancy and life of The Arts. It features
a slew of local and regional performers,
exhibits, events and competitions as well
as the Writers and Readers Festival. It’s a
melting pot of activities, exhibitions and
performances with a little something for
everyone.
Yayasan Sime Darby Arts
Festival 2014
13– 14 September, KLPAC, Kuala
Lumpur
For the first time, Yayasan Sime Darby
has teamed up with KLPAC to present a
weekend of activities and performances
to showcase the depth of the Malaysian
art scene. Expect to see Wayang Kulit and
Mak Yong performances, on top of per-
forming arts workshops, a variety of art
installations and screenings. Highlights
include music performances by Bihzhu,
Tenderfist, Sheila Majid and many more.
Whether it is contemporary, traditional,
mainstream or experimental, there is
something for everyone. Admission is
free.

Seni Fest 2014

DFP Presents returns this 2014/15 season with three
separate concerts to celebrate the wonders and joy of
Malaysia. AKUSTIKA I and II showcase unplugged
concerts featuring some of Malaysia’s most talented
musicians. Malaysia Tanah Airku presents a selection
of familiar and beloved Malaysian patriotic and folk
songs for the enjoyment and appreciation of Malaysia’s
rich and varied musical history. Tickets are selling
out fast!
